Fishing From Saporro

Fish All Day! (Half Days Available)

We start from around 7:30am and fish until the sun goes down (or until you can't cast anymore!) We will explore a variety of different spots in the area and ensure you catch that majestic Brown Trout or the acrobatic Rainbow Trout you've been craving! 

A Variety Of Species!

Hokkaido is home to various species, both native and none native. You'll find Rainbow Trout & Brown Trout which are none native but also native species like Iwana (White Spotted Char), Yamame (Cherry Trout) and Ugui (Japanese Dace). All keen to take a fly or a lure!

All Tackle included, Fly or Lure 

We offer fly fishing and lure fishing and both work well throughout the year. We tend to use 4-5wt fly rods with floating line and 2g-10g lure rods on a variety of larger and smaller rivers. All fishing tackle is included in addition to waders.

Station Collection & Drop Off

You will be collected from Chitose Station which is a 30 minute drive from Saporro and right next to the airport! After a days fishing you'll be dropped back off at the station or your desired location (within a 30km radius).
